Northern Virginia’s 1st ever student planned regional consent summit to prevent sexual violence among teens will be hosted by the Arlington Teen Network Board, Arlington’s Project PEACE and SafeBAE on May 16, 2020 at Wakefield High School.
This summit is the second summit hosted by SafeBAE and is launching of off the success of their first summit in Maine in May 2019.

Who: Arlington, Alexandria and Falls Church Youth and Adult Allies (parents, teachers, etc)
When: Saturday, May 16th, 2020 (9:30am-4pm)
Where: Wakefield High School (1325 S Dinwiddie St, Arlington, VA 22206)
What: A day of learning and fun! Through interactive workshops and group presentations, youth, and youth allies, will have opportunities to learn and share about the following topics:
- Define, recognize & ask for consent
- Identify their boundaries and how to maintain them
- Learn how to be an active bystander
- Access resources on sexual violence
- How to contribute to making their school safe from sexual violence or harassment
- How to date after a sexual assault
- And more!
