10:30-11:00am: Presentation: Domestic Violence Overview
- The presentation serves as an entry point into the greater conversation around understanding and unpacking what gender/power-based violence is. The presentation will define what gender/power-based violence and domestic/sexual violence is and how it appears in trends, barriers (to services), and cultural practices within the Asia Pacific American community.
11:00am-12:00pm: Service Provider Panel Discussion
- The presentation will be followed by a panel of service providers in Arlington to discuss the various services available to the community. This is a great opportunity to ask and answer the questions you have about domestic violence, the law, and Arlington’s response.
